A few notes:

I think Mike came up with the idea for this song. He was saying something along the lines of how going to a movie for a first date is such a cop out. And I was like, "I know right!?!? It's terrible! Why is it so popular!?"

And then I proceeded to put into song how and why it's such a terrible thing to do on a first date (or any date, really). Sure, it may give you something to talk about afterwards, but that's really kind of pointless.

I just want to point out that I did list 10 things you can do instead of going to the movies. Not only is the song accurate about how expensive and stupid the movies are, but it also suggests better alternatives! Brilliant!
