True Story, this blog that you all have read for more than 16 years, is moving to Substack.
What is Substack?
So glad you asked because I literally just found out about it last night.
It's a newsletter platform where writers like me can publish with more features and wider audience potential. It's kind of like Youtube for written content where you have free subscribers and members who can pay for additional content.
We're gettin' legit.
You all went through this with me transitioning from the LiveJournal days at Ooga Booga Surf Company. This is the next iteration.
It will be the same True Story blog that you all know and love except it comes with a bunch of benefits. For instance, I won't have to use the Bing browser just to be able to upload pictures like this one.

When you click on the link, you can subscribe, or you can say "No, thanks" like a lurker.
If you subscribe, you will receive an email every time that I update with the full blog post in the email, so you don't even have to take the extra step to go read it in a browser.
However, you may be prompted to set up an account or download some app, but you don't have to do that.
